The Milwaukee Robotics Coalition is hosting a Launch Party on Saturday, February 25, 2017. The event will be held at 42 Lounge and is described as an evening of information, networking, and fun. Thanks to their generosity, MRC is able to offer free entry and dedicated televisions to watch and listen to the FRC Premiere Night stream! Finger food will be available for nibbling while you meet the board members who have been working on our mission to raise money for school robotics team grants, develop a robotics innovation facility, and build a professional network of volunteers and educators who want to be involved in STEAM.
Donations are welcomed but not required. Attendees must be 21 or over.
Door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening, so come prepared to take home some swag
At 7 p.m., we will have a live stream of the FIRST Updates Now FRC Premiere Night twitch show! FIRST Robotics Competition is a worldwide league that challenges high school teams to design, build, and program robots to play a game. The teams only have six weeks to accomplish this task. FIRST Updates Now hosts one show per year that will showcase the “Robot Reveal” videos that introduce many teams’ robots to the world. The show follows a sportscasting format, with game analysis and color commentary about the history of the teams in between reveal videos.
